This is a railroad shot I took while we were in West Virginia at the Cass Mountain Scenic Railway.   This is 2 of their Shay steam locomotives that pull you up the mountain at incredibly steep grades.  We were doing the same kind of grades in a train that we were in a car.  These engines are able to do it due to their weight and the way they are geared, very different than a normal locomotive.
