I got this shot of a bee flying around the lilac bush last week.  I believe it’s a carpenter bee.  We call it a “Driller” bee because it likes to drill these perfectly round holes in the supports of our garage in the wood.  All the lilac flowers are gone already.  They sure don’t last long.
