I got this shot a little while ago after it had rained of droplets on clover leaves. I was using a ring flash and if you look closely at the water droplets you can see reflections of tiny rings of light. Remember you can always click on a photo to see it larger.

This is a shot from the day in late April where we had a snow storm. These are cherry tree blossoms or maybe crab apple blossoms, not sure, not my tree
covered in snow and ice. They actually seemed to survive OK even though it got pretty cold that night as well. Weird spring.

The sun was finally out all day and it was warm! Yay, much more spring like. This is from a week or so ago after we had some rain. I purple Hyacinth that was blooming very happily despite the cool weather we had been having.

This is another shot from last Sunday when everything was covered in dew. This is a macro image of one of my Vinca Speedwell flowers covered in dew. If you look at it big you can se lots of little droplets on the stamens as well.

Happy May Day! It’s turning very cold and very windy. I was out taking photos and saw these geese flying south overhead. I think they were thinking “What the heck, I am out of here”!

I took this shot yesterday morning. I had looked out the window and saw the grass just shining due to morning dew so decided to go out and see what I could get. I shot this at a very low angle and I thought it turned out pretty cool. Reminded me of fairy droplets. Remember you can always click on the image and view it larger.

We had snow today! It is spring isn’t it? It was like a blizzard at times. We got maybe 2 to 3 inches and now it is about half gone or more.  It was pretty though, I have to admit. This is snow in the Red Bud tree down the road from where I work. It was also good for the moisture I guess.

Have a day off today so can post early. I took this shot last night. It’s the moon behind trees and I processed it as an HDR to bring out the trees in the foreground and the wispy clouds that were over the moon. One of the shots that was used for this was long enough that you can see a streak from a star in the upper right area. It’s actually a composite of 3 shots.

Took this shot just a little while ago. We got at least 3 inches of snow that ended during the night. I was worried that my crocus my not survive but then I saw this and at least a few of them made it. This is a Purple Crocus bursting through the snow. Strong little flower.

Home again. Back to winter weather as well, we are under a winter storm warning! Where is spring.Â
This photo is fitting for today I guess. I got this during the last snow we had. A female Cardinal sitting in the Walnut tree in the snow looking rather cold.
