This is another view of the small waterfall in Carlisle, Pennsylvania that I shot this spring.  This is about a 2 second exposure at least.  It helped that it was a fairly cloudy day then plus I used a neutral density filter to darken even more to keep the shutter open that long.  It was also very windy and cold.

This is another of the waterfalls at the Overland Park Arboretum.  It’s quite a lovely place to walk and see flowers and waterfalls and nature as well.  This was a 2 and 1/2 second exposure to get the water to look like it does.

Last weekend we went to the Overland Park, KS Arboretum.  Quite the beautiful place.  They had 3 different fairly good sized waterfalls and this is the first one.  It’s a 2.5 second shot to get the water to look as it does.  I also used a neutral density filter to be able to do the long exposure.

Well, the sun finally came out this afternoon.  Not much rain out of all that but several days with no sunshine.  At least it’s warmer.  This is another view of the small waterfall in Carlisle, PA that I got in late March.  A long exposure shot to give the water a silky appearance.

Here’s another view of the little waterfall that is in Carlisle, PA.  It’s actually fairly wide but only about 3 or 4 feet high so relatively small as far as waterfalls go.  It’s quite lovely in my opinion though.  This was a 2 second exposure to get the water blur with a neutral density filter.

This is Dunloup Falls near Thurmond, West Virginia.  It was quite a lovely little falls and I was doing a long exposure shot with sun glass lens to act as a Neutral Density Filter.  Worked fairly well actually for a MacGyver workaround.  :-)

Doesn’t feel much like spring out today.  Only in the 30s and a very bitter wind.  Went out to a small waterfall near here and practiced doing some ong exposure images.  This is one of them that I liked how it turned out.  This is with a Neutral Density filter at 2 seconds.

This is Blackwater Falls in Blackwater State Park in West Virginia.  West Virginia was also experiencing a drought this past year so they were not as spectacular as they probably can be but I still found it to be a rather lovely waterfall and a beautiful state park.

This is another view of Elakara Number 2 on Shays Run at Black Water Falls State Park in West Virginia.  I was there around the 4th of July and they were having a bit of a drought as well but the falls was still lovely.

This is Dunloup Falls in West Virginia.  It’s on a small road on the way to Thurmond which is basically a ghost town that they are trying to bring back to life.  The railroad station there has been restored and is rather lovely.
