Here is a Grape Hyacinth shot from earlier this spring being photo bombed as they say by a honey bee. Liked this one because you can see the wings. Bees and butterflies are slowly coming back after the big cold snap and snow.

These are some tulips that I love with the light and dark pink. I shot this trio of them. Tulips are just about done now so glad other things are beginning to bloom again.

I took this shot a couple weeks ago when the Ornamental Pear trees were really blooming at their best. I got this shot as the sun was setting. I thought it turned out pretty neat with the back lighting and bit of sun flare.

These are some lovely yellow flowers I was given back in late March. I had taken some photos then but never shared them. These have some water droplets on them which can best be viewed larger by clicking on the photo which you can always do.

This is a shot from the day in late April where we had a snow storm. These are cherry tree blossoms or maybe crab apple blossoms, not sure, not my tree covered in snow and ice. They actually seemed to survive OK even though it got pretty cold that night as well. Weird spring.

The sun was finally out all day and it was warm! Yay, much more spring like. This is from a week or so ago after we had some rain. I purple Hyacinth that was blooming very happily despite the cool weather we had been having.

This is another shot from last Sunday when everything was covered in dew. This is a macro image of one of my Vinca Speedwell flowers covered in dew. If you look at it big you can se lots of little droplets on the stamens as well.

There are a number of trees in town with these beautiful red blooms on them. I am not sure if it is a type of cherry or possibly a crab apple. Whatever they are they are rather pretty I thought. Captured this on a very cold and windy day this week by using a flash.

Last day of April today and summery and then tomorrow we go back to winter. Crazy. I shot this tulip last week. The sun was catching it in a way that made it appear as though it were glowing. Looked like a tulip light bulb.

These are the blossoms of an ornamental pear tree. We have a lot of these trees in the area and it is quite lovely when they bloom. I had captured these on a rainy windy day with a flash.
